1Definitions

• "Huursterk" refers to Huursterk's services, website and platform
• "User" refers to any individual accessing the platform
• "Employer" refers to organisations that contract Huursterk for their employees
• "Housing Security Check" refers to the periodic check Huursterk uses to surface housing stress early
• "Confidential check-in" refers to our confidential consultation sessions
• "Preventive guidance" refers to targeted guidance when an employee needs more than a one-off check-in

2Service description

Huursterk provides a preventive provision for employers: a periodic housing security check, confidential check-ins and preventive guidance for employees in the Dutch private rental market. Our service is informational and educational in nature — we are not a law firm and do not provide legal representation.

3User obligations

• Provide accurate and complete information in the Housing Security Check
• Use the service for legitimate, personal purposes only
• Do not share login credentials or assessment links with others
• Respect intellectual property and confidentiality of our materials

4Agreements with employers

Employers contract our service via separate agreements. These terms supplement but do not override employer contracts. The employer is responsible for communicating service availability to employees.

5Limitations of service

Our support is based on Dutch tenancy law and general best practices. Every situation is unique — we provide interpretation and direction, not guarantees. We are not responsible for outcomes of negotiations or disputes with landlords.

6Intellectual property

All content, methodologies and materials on our platform are owned by Huursterk. Users may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without written permission.

7Liability

Huursterk is not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages. Total liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question. This does not affect statutory rights that cannot be limited.

8Modifications

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification.

9Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Groningen, the Netherlands.
