Confidential check-in

Calm interpretation, not litigation

A check-in helps an employee understand whether a rental situation needs attention, which options make sense and when referral is needed. It is not therapy, legal representation or an HR case.

What it is

  • A roughly 45-minute conversation with rental-law expertise.
  • Interpretation of risks around contract, termination, rent increase, maintenance or service charges.
  • Practical next steps and referral where needed.
  • Housing Security Check summary for the expert, only after explicit consent.

What it is not

  • No lawyer and no legal representation on behalf of the employee.
  • No therapy, mediation or general HR case management.
  • No feedback to the employer about participation, content or follow-up.
  • No default document upload; only where necessary and agreed.

Alongside EAP, occupational health and relocation

EAP, occupational health and social work often help once stress is already visible. Huursterk sits earlier in the chain: at the concrete housing cause that can create stress. The goal is early clarity, not medicalising or legalising.
